Film "Un'Ottima Annata" e il Luberon: Benvenuti in Provenza!

Se avete visto il film "Un'ottima annata" con Russel Crowe e vi è piaciuto, allora questo è il post giusto per voi. 

Se non lo avete ancora visto, cosa aspettate? Tornate a leggere il post dopo avere gustato ogni secondo di questo amabile film.

Dicono che, chiunque sia avvolto dalla frenesia cittadina, almeno una volta nella vita sogni di scappare verso luoghi ameni fatti di amore, natura e relax. Il protagonista del film non scappa dalla sua frenesia, anzi ne è letteralmente e malvolentieri trascinato via per gestire l'eredità dello zio, un vigneto nel sud-est della Francia, nel Luberon. Questo viaggio diventa un ritorno alle sue origini con una serie di flashback che, con effetto Madeleine, gli fanno riscoprire odori, sapori, emozioni e ricordare la passione dello zio per i suoi vigneti, l'amicizia da bambino con Fanny, l'esclusività di un vino speciale prodotto dalle sue viti: Le Coin Perdu.

Se avete in mente un viaggio in Provenza e avete adorato questo film non perdetevi alcune tappe nel Luberon, che hanno fatto da sfondo a molte scene del film. Girando per questi luoghi ti senti subito avvolto dal fascino della campagna provenzale: autentica, genuina e ridente, un itinerario magico in cui i borghi pittoreschi si fondono con i colori e le luci delle campagne e il profumo della lavanda. 

Quando abbiamo programmato questo viaggio Emma aveva solo 4 mesi. Siamo partiti all'avventura prenotando solo le prime 2 notti, partendo da Annecy per terminare il nostro giro in Costa Azzurra, passando per Avignone e tanti altri meravigliosi posti. E' solo durante il viaggio che abbiamo scoperto la connessione tra il Luberon e il film. Tappa obbligatoria a Gordes, un piccolo villaggio arroccato in cima ad una collina da cui godrete di una magnifica vista. L'hotel Le Renaissance si trova in una piazza di Gordes, che nel film è il bistrot in cui Max comincia a corteggiare Fanny. Passeggiate con calma tra le viuzze di Gordes, assaporate i suoi vicoli suggestivi, la piazza della fontana (anche questa sfondo di alcune scene del film) e la vista panoramica mozzafiato. Sono paesaggi non che dimenticherete mai più.

La maggior parte delle scene del film sono state girate nella tenuta dello zio, che nella realtà è Chateau La Canorgue. E' una tenuta che si trova nel cuore del Parco Naturale del Luberon, tra Avignone e Aix-en-provence, quindi una tappa comoda di un eventuale tour in Provenza. La tenuta ha una gestione familiare vecchia di generazioni, con radici che risalgono a più di 200 anni fa. Entrando nella tenuta si possono visitare soltanto gli spazi esterni, l'interno della villa è ovviamente vietato ai visitatori esterni. 

Oltre alla suggestione di guidare lungo le strade e le campagne che portano allo Chateau, all'interno della tenuta potrete godere degli spazi esterni, effettuare la degustazione presso la cantina, con la possibilità di acquistare i vini dei loro vigneti, tra cui il Coin Perdu, purtroppo non sempre disponibile! Noi ce l'abbiamo fatta!

P.S. Un giro in Provenza non può essere completo senza uno stop a Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Lì non hanno girato nessuna scena del film, ma andate e assaporate una passeggiata suggestiva in questo borgo medievale, dimora di artisti, pittori e artigiani, che con la loro arte colorano gli stretti vicoli di questo romantico villaggio.

MOVIE "A GOOD YEAR" AND LUBERON: WELCOME TO PROVENCE!

If you have seen the movie "A Good Year" with Russel Crowe and you liked it, then this is the right story for you. If you have not seen it yet, what are you waiting for? Come back to read the post after having enjoyed every second of this lovely movie. People say that, whoever is enveloped in the city frenzy, at least once in life dreams of escaping to pleasant places made of love, nature and relax. The protagonist of the movie does not escape from his frenzy, indeed it is unwillingly dragged away to manage his uncle's heritage, a country estate in the south-east of France, in Luberon. This journey becomes a return to his origins with a series of flashbacks that, with the Madeleine effect, make him rediscover smells, flavors, emotions and let him remember the passion of his uncle for his vineyards, the friendship as a child with Fanny, the exclusivity of a special wine produced by his grapevines: Le Coin Perdu. If you are planning a trip to Provence and you have loved this movie, do not miss a few stops in the Luberon, background of many scenes of this movie. Walking through these places you will feel hugged by the charm of the Provencal countryside: authentic, genuine, charming, magical through the picturesque villages blend with the colors and the lights of the countryside, perfumed by the scent of lavender.

When we planned this trip Emma was only 4 months old. We started this adventure booking only the first 2 nights, starting from Annecy ending in Cannes, passing through Avignon and many other wonderful places. Only during the journey we discovered the connection between the Luberon and the film. You cannot miss a stop in Gordes, a small village perched on top of a hill from where you can enjoy a magnificent view. The hotel Le Renaissance is located in a square of Gordes, it is the bistrot where Max begins courting Fanny. Take a suggestive walk through the narrow streets of Gordes, savor its striking alleyways, the fountain square (also  background of some scenes of the movie) and the breathtaking panoramic view. These are landscapes you will never forget. 

Most of the scenes were filmed on the estate of his uncle, Chateau La Siroque, that in real life is Chateau La Canorgue. The Chateau is located in the heart of the Luberon Natural Park, between Avignon and Aix-en-provence, even a comfortable stop during your  tour in Provence. The estate has an old family management, old of generations, with roots dating back more than 200 years ago. Entering the Chateau you can visit the outdoor spaces, while the interior of the villa is obviously forbidden to external visitors. In addition to the suggestion of driving along the roads and the countryside that lead to the Chateau, inside the estate you can enjoy the outdoor spaces, make a tasting at the winery, with the opportunity to buy the wines of their vineyards, including the Coin Perdu , unfortunately not always available! But we got it! 

P.S. A tour in Provence must include a stop in Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Over there they did not shoot any scene of the movie, but go and savor a suggestive walk in this medieval village, home of artists, painters and artisans, who color the narrow lanes of this romantic village with their art.
